Who is Sapphire Balms?

My name is Sam and I’m a mum of 3 beautiful children: Beau 7, Zoey 5 & Van 1 and make up one half of the face of Sapphire Balms (formally SB’Z Balms)

Back when I had my first baby, I was gifted some homemade balm by my mother in law and not only was it a unique gift but I loved that it was homemade and all natural - and that is what inspired me to start SB'Z Balms!

I then started making this wonder balm myself and adding in my own ingredients and combination of essential oils. I wanted to share it with my family and friends so SB'Z Balms came to life. Then life got in the way I was now pregnant with my 3rd baby, also working two jobs, I just didn't have the time to put all the love and attention SB'Z Balm needed. I lost confidence in myself and this is where Hayley comes in..

Hayley here, I'm a mum of 4 (still so strange to say!) Zak 7, Nat 5, CJ 2 & RJ 4months and I'm the other half of Sapphire Balms face.

I had previously purchased balms from Sam when she started SB'Z Balms and loved them - knowing they were safe for my babes being made from all natural ingredients. Turns out 3 of my children have sensitive skin so I have tried a heap of other creams for nappy rash but found they never completely healed it or it took a long time, Sam's balms made a noticeable difference straight away with Nat. When I fell pregnant with CJ I couldn't get enough of the belly balm even using it on my legs as they were incredibly itchy and kept me awake at night, nothing worked so I tried the Belly Balms and again the relief was almost instant! 

That was the first time I tried to encourage Sam to bring her balms business back to life, I wasn't convincing enough and it wasn't till late 2021 when Nat had savage windburn for weeks that wouldn't heal even when I had tried multiple "cures" within days of trying Sam's lip balm there was a significant change and it was almost completely gone in a week. That's when I finally convinced Sam that with my help we could revive her balm business and give more people the results I had gotten without having to try every other product on the shelf first!

After months of talking about it and throwing around ideas we finally launched Sapphire Balms in May 2022
